THE ROLE: 

Commissionaires’ NL provides security services to Fortis. The site manager is responsible or managing the day-to-day operations and providing overall leadership to the site.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 The duties and responsibilities in this security-related role may include, but are not limited to:

  • Submitting payroll
  • Workplace inspection checklists
  • Dual logs
  • Liaise with Client regularly i.e., personnel & site issues that arise
  • Mobile patrol of 4 commercial buildings downtown
  • Complete 4 building rounds per 7-hour shift utilizing stairs/ elevators.
  • Alarm response
  • Perform other duties as required

WHO WE’RE SEEKING

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Be professional, reliable
  • Have a clear criminal record check
  • First Aid Emergency Level (1 Day)
  • Fully Vaccinated 
  • Computer Skills knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Completion of the Commissionaires Supervisors course

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

The selected candidate will be professional and detail driven individual with a strong work ethic and “can do” attitude. Both physical and mental fitness is required. This often involves working in all types of environment conditions at varying times throughout the day or night. 

Key qualifications and skills to be successful include but are not limited to:

  • Mental alertness with ability to:
    • React calmly, quickly, and appropriately in any crisis 
    • Communicate observed characteristics/behaviours 
    • Demonstrate problem-solving and sound judgement
  • Superior attention to detail with very good verbal communication skills
  • Physical fitness with ability to: 
    • Navigate Foot patrols
