Largest Security Contract in 2012 Awarded to Commissionaires

Commissionaires Manitoba is pleased to announce it has earned the largest security contract in Manitoba this year. They were the successful bidder of a three year contract with Boeing Canada Winnipeg (BCW) to provide security services to BCW’s three separate Winnipeg locations

The contract is to provide security guarding for over 50,000 hours per year. It means opportunities for 25 Commissionaires who are trained in security, customer service, and emergency first aid CPR/AED amongst other training.

“Being awarded this contract allows us to provide highly trained and experienced security services to one of Manitoba’s top manufacturing firms. It’s an exciting opportunity for our commissionaires,” says Tom Reimer, CEO, Commissionaires Manitoba.

Commissionaires Manitoba has provided security solutions to Manitoban’s for over 70 years. Commissionaires is the largest security company in Canada with 16 autonomous divisions. A majority of its employees are veterans of the Canadian Forces and RCMP who provide exceptional experience to their security related positions.

Boeing Canada Winnipeg is the largest aerospace composite manufacturing centre in Canada. BCW employs 1,600 people who produce composite parts for Boeing Next-Generation 737, 747, 767, 777 and 787 airplanes.
