Standard First Aid - Online

Commissionaires Nova Scotia is a certified Canadian Red Cross Training Partner. To provide a solution for social distancing because of COVID-19, we now offer an online Standard First Aid course that earns a temporary 90-day certificate. This blended course teaches the first component online at the participant's pace. Upon completion, participants will receive their temporary certification. Within 90 days, participants will be required to complete the four hour in-person component, after which they will be issued a 3-year certification. We will offer the classroom component for all our first aid courses when it is safe to do so.​

  • COST: $50 +tax for online course, $75 +tax for in-person component

  • DURATION: Approx. 8 hour online portion (self-paced), 8 hour in-class portion

  • CERTIFICATION: 90-day certification after the online portion, 3-year certification after the in-person component

  • DESCRIPTION: Standard First Aid is a comprehensive two-day course offering standard first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.
