Online Emergency & Standard First Aid Level A, C

Commissionaires Nova Scotia is a certified Canadian Red Cross Training Partner. We offer two online courses: Emergency First Aid Level A, C and Standard First Aid Level A, C. Each earn a temporary 90-day certificate. These blended courses teach the first component online at the participant's pace. Upon completion, participants will receive their temporary certification. Within 90 days, participants will be required to complete the in-person component, after which they will be issued a 3-year certification.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID LEVEL A, C (ONLINE BLENDED COURSE)

  • COST: $50 +tax for online course, $50 +tax for in-person component
  • DURATION: Approx. 4 hour online portion (self-paced), 4 hour in-class portion
  • CERTIFICATION: 90-day certification after the online portion, 3-year certification after the in-person component
  • DESCRIPTION: Emergency First Aid is a one-day course providing an overview of basic emergency first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) skills for the workplace or home.

STANDARD FIRST AID LEVEL A, C (ONLINE BLENDED COURSE)

  • COST: $50 +tax for online course, $75 +tax for in-person component
  • DURATION: Approx. 8 hour online portion (self-paced), 8 hour in-class portion
  • CERTIFICATION: 90-day certification after the online portion, 3-year certification after the in-person component
  • DESCRIPTION: Standard First Aid is a comprehensive two-day course offering standard first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.
