We are proud to announce that Commissionaires Ottawa is the sponsor for Fallen Heroes: Their Journey Home – an impactful film and deeply moving documentary honouring the Canadian Armed Forces’ extraordinary service in Afghanistan. This powerful story highlights the courage and resilience of our men and women in uniform, shedding light on the untold history of Canada’s longest war.
Over 40,000 Canadian soldiers served in Afghanistan, facing unimaginable challenges. From combat operations in Kandahar to crucial leadership roles within NATO, Canadian forces made a lasting impact. This film brings those experiences to life, showing the physical and emotional toll of war.
Fallen Heroes is a tribute to their sacrifice – the 159 soldiers and 4 civilians we lost, and the many others who continue to live with the scars of war. This documentary is not only a tribute, but also a call to inspire pride in service and honor the sacrifices made by those who served.
