Commissionaires from the New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Division of The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires received recognition and service awards presented by His Honour, H. Frank Lewis, the Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Prince Edward Island and the Honourable H. Wade MacLaughlan, the Premier of Prince Edward Island at a ceremony on April 29 in Charlottetown. The Premier read a Proclamation to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Commissionaires.
Colonel Pieter Kramers, Chief Executive Officer of the N.B. & P.E.I. Division said, “We were honoured to have the Lieutenant Governor and the Premier with us to recognize and reward our members for their outstanding service with Commissionaires many of which come to us after a career with the Canadian Armed Forces or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. We’re very proud of our team who continually achieve the high standards we have set for customer service and excellence.”
