CNS Veterans’ Support Committee Donates to NS/Nunavut Legion

Commissionaires Nova Scotia’s Veterans’ Support Committee is donating $1000 to the Royal Canadian Legion – Nova Scotia/Nunavut Command. The funding will support veterans facing urgent needs, like shelter, food, and clothing costs. Those benefiting from the donation include serving military members, retired veterans, and military families.

At Commissionaires, we are committed to supporting past and present military members. Our contribution to the local Legion reflects this commitment.

The Legion is Canada’s largest veteran and community service organization. Membership includes currently serving and retired Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police members, as well as their families. The Legion advocates for the care and benefits of all who served Canada, regardless of when or where they served.

Each year, the Commissionaires NS Veterans Support Committee provides funds to veteran organizations based out of Nova Scotia. Steve Graham, the committee’s chair, presented the funds to the Legion.
