Let us Introduce you to a remarkable professional on the CGL team. Rosanna Williams is an extraordinary individual who embodies an exceptional work ethic and dedication to her role as a supervisor.
Rosanna is a invaluable team member and has been for the last eight years, demonstrating dedication and determination. Her journey with the company began when she took a guard training course, when CGL was located at 80 Church Street, at the suggestion of another security company. Lucky for us, she was impressed by Commissionaires’ history, the people and our uniform appearance, so she decided to stay and make it her professional home.
“The uniform with the white shirt was just so sharp,” she recalls. “When I wear my uniform, I am no longer Rosanna Williams but a commissionaire.”
Rosanna brings a wealth of experience to her role. She worked as a nanny for a loving family for ten years before joining Commissionaires. Her CGL highlights include working at passport and immigration offices, and the airport.
“Had it not been for CGL, I never would have experienced the places of my work assignments.”
In 2023, Rosanna led our women’s marching unit to victory and won the prestigious Lt(N/S) Kay Christie ARRC Memorial Trophy for CGL for the second year. She also served as an honour guard at City Hall during the 2023 Remembrance Day ceremony.
When Rosanna is not working, you can find her watching her favourite sports which range from basketball to football, soccer and, recently, hockey. She also dedicates time to making a positive impact by volunteering at her church. And if that is not enough, she loves spending time with her eight beautiful grandchildren and boasts about them regularly.
Rosanna’s warm and loving personality, professional approach and dedication to excellence make her an exceptional employee. We are honoured to have her on our team and look forward to many more years of working together.
