Podcast: Transitions and purposeful work

This episode features excerpts from an interview with commissionaire Russ Treadwell, and a speech delivered by Veterans Affairs Minister Seamus O'Regan.

Russ Treadwell has been a commissionaire for three years. He joined our Northern Alberta Division after seven years of service, leaving because, as a single dad, he wanted to make sure his son had a connected and caring upbringing.

Seamus O'Regan was named Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence this past summer. He has experienced the challenge of transitioning from purposeful work as part of a committed team. Minister O'Regan spoke as the Invictus Games Career Summit to promote the hiring of veterans and announce a new public service initiative to support veteran employment.
