Six Students Receive Educational Awards from Commissionaires (2022)

Each student (either a commissionaire or their family member) was awarded an academic scholarship of up to $2,000 from Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS)

The Commissionaires Nova Scotia Educational Awards program is administered by the CNS Board of governors to provide post-secondary funding for commissionaires and their dependents (spouses, children, and grandchildren of serving commissionaires).

We issue a call for applications each spring. Funding is awarded to successful applicants before the start of the school year. This year, we expanded eligibility to include part-time students. We also mandate at least one of the awards to go to a member of the African Nova Scotian or Indigenous community.
