As an important part of Commissionaires Ottawa’s internal recognition program, the Supervisor of the Year Award commends outstanding duty performance by a supervisor.
This year’s recipient is:
CWO Marie-Josée Normandeau-Lalonde, Section 64, Global Affaris Canada, Gatineau.
CWO Marie-Josée Normandeau-Lalonde continues to be an exemplary supervisor who goes out of her way to surpass client expectations. As proof of her outstanding efforts, we received five different letters of support praising Marie-Josée for her remarkable abilities and attitude.
Marie-Josée began her career at Commissionaires Ottawa in 2004 as a patroller and rose through the ranks to become the Section Supervisor for Section 64 in 2008.
Marie-Josée carries out her responsibilities with an enormous amount of energy, optimism and enthusiasm. For example, when several different governmental departments were being amalgamated and renamed, her exemplary coordination and goal-oriented attitude was instrumental in allowing her and her team to reissue 3000 employee IDs in a very short amount of time.
More recently, Marie-Josée was instrumental in establishing a new mail room at Global Affairs Canada. She overcame many challenges in implementing this new service line, but she and the well-qualified and efficient crew continue to earn praise from our client.
Here is just a sample of what clients and commissionaires have said about Marie-Josée:
“Solid and sound professional leadership”
“Excellent service”
“Nothing but fantastic”
“We only have positive feed-back from our clients”
“Honored to have her as the lead of our security team”
Congratulations Marie-Josée, and very well deserved!
