We are currently recruiting for a Storekeeper for a term position of 3 months to work in person at our headquarters in Ottawa, ON.

What you will be doing…

The incumbent will support the Assistant Quartermaster with the general operation of the clothing store by providing superior customer service by responding to and to action queries either by phone, email, or in person and shipping items when required. The incumbent will also make sure the clothing store remains clean and presentable at all times.

While manning the Service Counter, the incumbent will be supporting peers in processing and taking proper action for the returns of clothing and equipment.

Inventory Management duties will include receiving and processing the orders by verifying the quantities and quality match the purchase orders and packing slip. Physical inventories are to be conducted on a monthly basis and may require investigating discrepancies.

Supporting Corporate Services by performing deliveries and pick-up of clothing, equipment, and supplies when required. The Store Keeper assists with various clerical duties and provides assistance when needed for cleaning and maintenance of vehicle and other equipment.  

You’re a good fit if…

  • You have experience with inventory management in either a retail or warehouse setting considered an asset
  • You have excellent customer service skills
  • You are capable of standing for extended periods of time

Your must-haves:

  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a valid Enhance Reliability Security Clearance
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lb
  • Valid Drivers License with a clear driving abstract
  • Speak, read & write fluently in English and French
