Starting Salary: $115,000/year
Are you ready to lead with strategy and creativity? We’re seeking an innovative and results-driven Director of Marketing and Communications to take charge of Commissionaires Ottawa’s marketing and branding efforts. This is a leadership role for someone passionate about aligning strategies, fostering brand identity, and driving impactful communication campaigns.
Your Mission
As the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will:
Shape and Amplify the Brand:
- Oversee brand strategy, ensuring consistent application across all platforms
- Act as the brand ambassador, reinforcing a strong organizational identity
Lead Communications:
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans
- Manage media relations and provide crisis communication leadership
Drive Marketing Initiatives:
- Craft and analyze multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Optimize efforts with analytics-driven decision-making
Inspire the Team:
- Mentor and lead a high-performing marketing team
- Cultivate a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability
Engage Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to align initiatives with strategic goals
- Build relationships that position the organization as a trusted community partner
What You Bring
Education & Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Advanced expertise in digital marketing, branding, and analytics
Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills across diverse platforms
- Proficiency in crisis management and data-driven decision-making
- Leadership abilities to inspire and manage a dynamic team
Experience:
- Proven track record of success in marketing and communications roles
- Eligibility for Secret-level security clearance
- Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred
