HOURS OF WORK:
• Full-Time
• 0800hrs to 1630hrs with a 30 min unpaid lunch
• Monday to Thursday, 32 hours
• Shifts availability must include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and possibly unscheduled call-ins, may be required from district Supervisor/Manager

RATE OF PAY: $27.27 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:
The Commissionaire, acting in the capacity of Administrative Support & Records Clerk (Deputy Unit Security Supervisor), shall provide administrative, records management, and security support services.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Reliability Security screening with the ability to obtain Level II (Secret);
• Experience in records or information management
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook); and
• Comfortable speaking in front of large and small crowds.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Demonstrated experience in administrative and clerical support roles
• Accuracy and completeness of records; and
• Professional conduct and reliability.
• Previous supervisory experience in the CAF an asset

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
• Reliability Security screening with the ability to obtain Level II (Secret);

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• represent the Commissionaires and the client professionally at all times including personal conduct, dress, and appearance,
• read, remain current with, and follow all Commissionaires policies, Terms & Conditions of Employment
• read, remain current with, maintain, and follow all client & site SOPs/post instructions,
• Providing intake support services for newly enrolled university students, including the receipt, organization, verification, and tracking of required documentation and information packages
• Providing administrative assistance to students with education-related claims, including guidance on required documentation, tracking of submissions, and coordination with appropriate Wing authorities
• Providing administrative and coordination support for University Liaison Officer orientation activities, including planning support, scheduling, preparation of materials, and participant tracking
• Providing policy guidance support through the administration and management of email correspondence related to Subsidized Education Management, including monitoring shared mailboxes, drafting responses for review, and routing inquiries to appropriate authorities.
• Monitoring and custodial services related to information, records, and designated assets
• Supporting the safeguarding of classified, protected, and sensitive information in accordance with applicable security directives
• Assisting with routine verification activities to ensure access to classified information is limited to appropriately cleared personnel
• Supporting the verification of reliability screening for individuals requiring access to sensitive (non-classified) information
• Assisting with the preparation, review, vetting, and submission of Personnel Security Clearance Questionnaires
• Maintaining and updating security clearance tracking tools, access lists, and related records
• Supporting the administration and verification of required briefings when personnel are granted, upgraded, renewed, or amended security clearances
• Assisting with the coordination and tracking of security briefings for newly arrived personnel
• Supporting the delivery, scheduling, or coordination of security awareness activities in accordance with the DND Security Program
• Providing or arranging semi-annual security education briefings, presentations, and supporting materials, as directed by the USS
• Creating, monitoring, verifying, and maintaining administrative and information packages, including claims and related documentation for Wing personnel
• Maintaining physical and electronic records in accordance with CAF/DND information management and retention policies
• Preparing documentation and administrative files in support of the approval of security standing orders and related directives
• Assisting with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security checks as directed by appropriate authorities
• Supporting security inspections, searches, and audits
• Maintaining documentation and records related to findings, actions, and compliance activities
• Drafting, formatting, filing, and tracking correspondence and documentation
• Maintaining logs, registers, and administrative tracking tools
• Providing additional administrative support services as required to meet operational needs, within the scope of the Standing Offer
• maintain a daily personal notebook,
• record, advise/report on any unusual site activity to the appropriate supervisor/client including any actions/remedies and/or official reporting undertaken, as required,
• generate appropriate security and incident reports, as required,
• maintain a dialogue with the Site/District Supervisor and the client at all times, and
• perform any other required security related duties, as detailed by the Site Supervisor/District Manager and/or as reasonably requested by the client.

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for consideration for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
• Reliability Security screening with the ability to obtain Level II (Secret);
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid Emergency CPR First Aid with AED
