POSITION:  Cornwall Office Administrative Assistant (3 shifts per week)

LOCATION: 14 3rd St E, Cornwall On K6H 2C7

TRAVEL: Must be willing to travel to various sites within Cornwall and surrounding area as needed.

JOB SUMMARY:    
The Office Administrative Assistant is the friendly face and organized backbone of our daily operations. In this role, you will handle general front-office duties, manage scheduling, and receive hands-on training to conduct professional background checks and fingerprinting services for our clients and candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage general office duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, filing, and managing office correspondence.
  • Coordinate scheduling for security guard shifts, client appointments, and internal meetings.
  • Undergo specialized training to accurately perform and process client fingerprinting and background checks.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive client and employee data.
  • Assist with basic data entry, invoice processing, and record-keeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (previous administrative experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), SLING, and comfortable learning new software.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data privacy and confidentiality.
