POSITION: Cornwall Supervisor
LOCATION: 14 Third St East Cornwall ON
HOURS OF WORK:
• Full-Time
• Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600
• Unscheduled call-ins may be required due to emergencies

RATE OF PAY: $40,000 – $45,000 – salary based on experience and qualifications of hired individual in a not-for-profit environment.

JOB SUMMARY: The Cornwall Supervisor, reporting to the Eastern District Manager, will oversee and support daily operations within the Cornwall District. This includes providing assistance, supervision, and leadership to site supervisors. Key responsibilities will involve managing emergency calls, coordinating shift schedules, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Cornwall Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining ISO compliance, ensuring accurate and timely submission of timesheets, and assisting with security licenses and clearance renewals.
This position requires regular office presence and is not suitable for remote work or extended off-site arrangements.
EXPERIENCE:
• Previous supervisory experience
• Customer service experience
• Office and computer experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
• G license
• Must have a valid Ontario security license
• Able to obtain and maintain an reliability clearance
• Would be considered an asset: post-secondary diploma/degree in business administration or equivalent experiences

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Level I – Reliability (requires 5 years minimum Canadian residency)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Must organize and participate in career events along with Human Resources and/or Enrollments personnel.
• Must field calls from commissionaires (Unassigned spares, Site Supervisors, clients, and regional office staff).
• Must carry a duty phone for emergency after hour calls from guards, supervisors, Clients or the Eastern District Manager
• Must conduct site visits, delivering equipment, picking up guard and incident reports, site kits, uniforms and distributing Service Awards. Complete ISO compliance checks (Uniform standards etc.) and address any concerns from guards.
• Must provide leadership and support to supervisors and make arrangements for lone worker call -ins.
• Must track and administer assessments for all guards. Must ensure Supervisors generate probation and annual assessments as required. Ensure annuals and passed or failed probation. assessments are forwarded to the Eastern District Manager. Must generate positive performance reports
• Must prepare, revise, and submit a current list of guards for after-hours call out and contact for work to the SOC as required. Must ensure scheduling software is up to date with employee information.
• Must perform CPIC and CRJMC checks for newly enrolled guards, or guards needing to renew security guard licenses and assist guards with their security guard license renewals online to expedite the renewal process.
• Must be knowledgeable with scheduling software and perform scheduling duties prepare schedules and timesheets. Ensure all available shifts have been covered as needed. Regularly review Sling to ensure the Site schedules are up to date and there is no unauthorized overtime and review all site supervisors’ timesheets as they are sent into payroll.
• Must complete all day-to-day administration functions for the district, including
generating and submitting WSCF’s, LOAs and other personnel admin is completed promptly
• Must ensure first aid certificates, security licenses and receipts for all guards in district are submitted for reimbursement as well updated onto CHRIS
• Must schedule appointments for fingerprinting and Conduct fingerprints
• Must record any/all shift refusals and compliance issues.
• Must maintain all local copies of guard and client, records in secure filing systems.
• Must share on call responsibility with the Brockville Supervisor for afterhours business calls
• Must participate in any and all internal and continuing education deemed necessary by the Director of Operations and/or delegate
• Any other duties as assigned by the Eastern District Manager, Director of Operations and/or delegate.

All security work is 24/7 up to 40 hours per week and overtime is possible.
