Position Type: Part-Time to Full-Time (Variable Hours)
Pay: $19.50 to $24.00 per hour, depending on assignment and site requirements.
About the Role:
Commissionaires Kingston & Region is seeking professional and dependable Multi-Site Security Guards to support government and commercial client sites throughout Eastern Ontario. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work across a variety of locations while gaining valuable security experience.
Available shifts may include days, afternoons, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access control and visitor management
- Conduct security patrols and site inspections
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Complete reports, logs, and documentation
- Enforce site policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service
- Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity
- Travel between assigned sites as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C with AED
- Clean Criminal Record Check (CPIC)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance
- Requires a minimum of 5 years residing in Canada
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various work sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer and report-writing skills
- Professional and adaptable work ethic
- Additional requirements such as a Driver’s Abstract, Vulnerable Sector Check, or Smart Serve certification may be required depending on the assignment.
