POSITION: Scheduling Coordinator and ID Services Technician  

LOCATION: 365 N Front St #200, Belleville, ON

HOURS OF WORK:   

  • Full-Time   
  • Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600, with a 1 hour, unpaid lunch. 
  • Unscheduled call-ins may be required from district Supervisor/Manager 

RATE OF PAY: $38,000 to 43,000 – salary based on experience and qualifications of hired individual in a not-for-profit environment.

JOB SUMMARY:      
To work in conjunction with the District Manager in overseeing the operations and administration of the Quinte District. Support District Manager, District Supervisor and Director of Operations as well as Kingston Regional Staff.

This position is not conducive to working from home or away from the office for long periods of time. 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Must possess superior oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must possess excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must have excellent problem solving and organizational skills. 
  • Must have strong computer skills/experience (Office, Word, Outlook, apps) 
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a reliability security clearance. 
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, 
  • Should possess excellent computer skills, including experience with specialized secure networks and all Microsoft products i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook, and 
  • Should possess experience with online scheduling apps. 
  • Must have the ability to multitask effectively and manage conflicting priorities  

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:   Reliability Clearence  

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  1. Must prepare shift schedules for employees including those not assigned to supervised sites. 
  1. Must maintain a Casuals List and assign Casuals to site shifts, as required. 
  1. Must record a lot of availability and unavailability. 
  1. Must respond to telephone, e-mail and in-person inquiries from commissionaires, client requests, and any additional inquiries regarding staff fulfillment. 
  1. Must share on call responsibility with the district staff for afterhours business calls subject to the discretion of the District Manager.  This includes times when the District Manager or District Supervisor are away from work. 
  1. Must provide additional support to site supervisors who require staffing. 
  1. Must complete timesheet and payroll submissions for the Quinte District and submit payroll bi-weekly 
  1. Must ensure new hires are introduced to scheduling software and ensure app is downloaded and employees are trained on how to navigate scheduling software. 
  1. Must ensure sos’d employees are deactivated from Scheduling software  
  1. Must complete Criminal Record Checks 
  1. Must respond to requests and book appointments for ID Services. 
  1. Must complete Fingerprint submissions. 
  1. Must process Payments and receipts or Direct Billing of ID Services Rendered. 
  1. Must complete any other duties that may be required by the District Manager, District Supervisor or Staff member from headquarters  

REQUIREMENTS  
To be eligible for consideration for this position, you must have the following qualifications: 

  • Reliability Security Clearance 
  • Valid Emergency CPR First Aid with AED  
  • Clean CPIC and Background Check
