THE ROLE

Commissionaires NL is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to manage the hiring process including candidate attraction, reviewing resumes, interviews, hiring paperwork and onboarding.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the Management of the Recruitment Inbox
  • Screen and shortlist resumes, conduct pre-screen interviews, and evaluate candidate suitability based on role requirements
  • Schedule and Conduct Interviews (both in-person and virtual), coordinating closely with Site Managers and Account Managers
  • Extend verbal and written job offers to selected candidates
  • Collaborate with Site Managers and Account Managers regarding Staffing Requirements
  • Coordinate the onboarding process, ensuring completion of all required paperwork and pre-employment documentation
  • Management of Employees Files using CHRIS (Commissionaires Human Resource Information System)
  • Compliance Tracking and Provide Follow up to Management on Recruitment
  • Submitting Government of Canada Reliability Clearances for Employees & RCMP Clearances
  • Register New Hires for Commissionaires Training Courses and Maintaining Training Records.
  • Attend Career Fairs Both in Person and Virtually
  • Assist with implementation of new HR software.
  • Other Duties as Required

WHO WE’RE SEEKING

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 1-2 years experience with Full Cycle Recruitment
  • Experience with implementing new HR software would be an asset
  • Must be comfortable computers and learning new programs
  • Experience working in the Security Industry would be an asset
  • Be professional, reliable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to obtain clear Police Conduct Certificate and Secret Clearance though the government of Canada required.
  • Driver’s license
