THE ROLE

Commissionaires NL is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to manage the entire hiring process including candidate attraction, reviewing resumes, interviews, hiring paperwork and onboarding.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the Management of the Recruitment Email Folder
  • Review Applications and Contact Candidates for Pre Screen Interviews
  • Schedule and Conduct Interviews
  • Assist New Hires with Hiring Paperwork
  • Liaise with Site Managers and Account Managers regarding Staffing Requirements
  • Add New Employees into CHRIS (Commissionaires Human Resource Information System)
  • Attend Career Fairs Both in Person and Virtually
  • Compliance Tracking and Provide Follow up to Management on Recruitment
  • Submitting Government of Canada Reliability Clearances for Employees
  • Registering New Hires for Commissionaires Training Course and Maintaining Training Records.
  • Other Duties as Required

WHO WE’RE SEEKING

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 1-2 years experience with Recruitment
  • Experience working in the Security Industry would be an asset
  • Be professional, reliable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to obtain clear police conduct and Secret Clearance though the government of Canada required.
  • Driver’s license
