We are currently recruiting for a System Administrator to work in person at our headquarters located in Ottawa ON.
What you will be doing…
As a Systems Administrator, you will provide first and second-level technical support to end-users, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues related to hardware, software, applications, and network systems. You will also play a key role in maintaining system stability, improving processes, and supporting IT infrastructure.
Some of your responsibilities include…
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related incidents and service requests
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
- Document and track incidents in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier support teams
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security enforcement
- Monitor system performance, generate reports, and identify trends or potential vulnerabilities
- Provide clear and professional communication with end-users regarding issue resolutions
- Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides
- Assist in onboarding and training new IT support team members

You’re a good fit if…
- You have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in IT-related issues
- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Intune, including device management, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting
- You have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and Active Directory
- You are familiar with ITSM tools and remote troubleshooting technologies
- You have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, such as IP addressing, DHCP, and DNS
- You provide excellent customer service and can explain technical concepts clearly
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, can prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines
Your must-haves:
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for enterprise-level device and application management
- A Government of Canada Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
