Commissionaires from the New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Division of The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires received recognition and service awards presented by Her Honour Mme Jocelyne Roy Vienneau, the Lieutenant Governor of the Province of New Brunswick and The Honourable Stephen Horsman, Deputy Premier and Minister of Public Safety and Justice at a ceremony on May 2nd in Fredericton. The Lieutenant Governor read a Proclamation to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Commissionaires.
Colonel Pieter Kramers, Chief Executive Officer of the N.B. & P.E.I. Division said, “We were honoured to have the Lieutenant Governor and the Deputy Premier with us to recognize and reward our members for their outstanding service with Commissionaires many of which come to us after a career with the Canadian Armed Forces or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. We’re very proud of our team who continually achieve the high standards we have set for customer service and excellence.”
