Businesses registered for the Controlled Goods Program are required to have their Designated Official conduct a comprehensive security assessment for each officer, director, employee and domestic student who requires access to controlled goods. This assessment includes criminal record checks.
Security assessment services include:

- Criminal record check of officers, directors and employees
- Credit checks for financial risk
- Employment and education history
- Reference checks
Criminal record checks using name and date of birth are submitted through a direct connection to our police partner and are processed in 24-48 hours.
Digital fingerprint record checks are submitted through a direct connection to the RCMP and generate a response in 72 hours, if no convictions are found.
